Chapter History

The North Texas Chapter of the GPA originated in 1991. The purpose of the organization is to "serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas and information concerning the gas processing industry."

The Mission Statement crafted in 1996 reads, "We are committed to providing relevant educational forums and opportunities for social interaction for members." We encourage you to become a member and get involved.

In addition to providing scholarships to area students, the NTGPA offers two one-day courses on the basics of gas processing which include a tour of a gas plant. Also offered are two half-day courses on gas processing statements and gas processing agreements. Seasonal meetings and activities such as golf and sporting clays are listed under Events above.

Sponsors for NTGPA 2008/2009

THANKS to our SPONSORS
Corporate Memberships are critical to the success of the NTGPA. Last year was the highest level of Corporate Membership for the NTGPA in many years. Please encourage your company to become active in the NTGPA with a corporate membership as well as encouraging participation in the NTGPA of individual employees.

Three levels of Corporate Memberships are available: Platinum - $750, Gold -$500, Silver - $250. All levels of membership have the same benefits, i.e. 1) recognition at North Texas GPA functions, 2) all company employees that are listed along with the check are automatically included on the membership rolls, (thus eliminating the need for each individual member to pay dues) and will receive announcements, etc. 3) Most of the funds collected go to our scholarship fund which we award each year. The difference is the pride of being a "Platinum" member vs. a "Silver", which has different values to each individual company.
